Patric has shown tremendous improvement in the second half of the season compared to the first. The 21-year-old right-back has gone from being an easy victim for opposition wingers to a reliable defender with a good offensive contribution. Patric seemed to mature a lot in the second half of the season, and although he didn’t play as much as he would have liked (due to injury), being the only pure right-back in the squad, he has been very stable. He has tamed his offensive instincts, which often led him to being left stranded in the opposition’s half while players reaped the central defenders apart during the first half of the season, and managed to find a good balance between his offensive and defensive duties. He had never been perfect, as his defensive shortcomings were still exposed by more able opponents, yet it was still quite well done by the right-back.
